Welcome to Sandra Novack's Blog

Sandra Novack's debut novel, Precious (Random House), was named a "Top Ten Debut of 2009" by Booklist. Her short story collection Everyone But You is forthcoming from RH September 13, 2011, and she is currently working on a new novel, tentatively titled Resurrection Fern. Her short stories have appeared in over thirty literary venues, including The Gettysburg Review, The Iowa Review, Gulf Coast, Descant, and The Chattahoochee Review. Stephen King named her story "Memphis" a "Distinguished Story" in BASS. She has been nominated three times for a Pushcart Prize, has judged novel contests, short story contests, and has led various workshops at writers' conferences. She has also taught creative writing at both traditional colleges and on-line and is available for private tutoring.
